Dragon disciple is for str based melee characters that use pref-fight buffs and utility spells. Typical entry's are magus and bard or fighter/barbarian/paladin with a level dipped for perquisites. The Slayer's advantages in armor proficiencies and hit dice don't really matter in Kingmaker, at least beyond Normal difficulty, and with how high-powered the loot gets, the Slayer's higher BAB isn't going to make much of a difference in the long run - the Knife Master Rogue will still out-slay him, I think. All these builds are fun to play as and should make the game easier for new players. Keep your Charisma stat high and max out Persuasion. After that, good skills are Stealth and Knowledge (Arcana). Fighter-ish: Eldritch Scion, Spells: support/self-buffs, Race: Human or Aasimar.Pathfinder: Kingmaker can be a demanding game, but it does us a favor in one respect - the hybrid fighter/mage character is actually quite powerful, and is the sort of micromanagement-heavy character we’re looking for in a protagonist.cRPG Bro makes both Unfair and more generalized builds, so you'll see a lot more build variety and flexibility from him. He also tends to prefer easier to play and/or melee trickster builds, but has started to diversify more. Personally, I use the builds I like from either as inspiration for my own. Barekith the Dwarf. A proud dwarf, muscular, with a huge beard and the usual love for drinking, fighting and tinkering. Only problem is Barekith is a human fighter. Mechanically he's what you'd expect of a 2 handed dwarf tanky frontliner, because that's what he believes to be.No, it's a standard PF approach to playing Magus. Grab Wayang Spellhunter and Magical Lineage as your traits, apply both to Shocking Grasp. Empower is now free, spell level-wise, so your basic Shocking Grasp is now 1.5x the damage. Besides a walkthrough there is pretty much everything you could want from a guide: builds for companions, builds for you, a guide for unfair difficulty, achievements guide, party management, DLC guides, and much more.Never found one. There's a mod that gives you essentially a cheat engine, somebody else mentioned hiring a merc and using them as a character builder. I wish for the same thing tbh given how much of a wild clusterfuck pathfinder level up progression can potentially be. You could try PCGen.And from my understanding you can really build horribly in Pathfinder and ruin your fun and who knows how much hours of gameplay aka loading time you will have to redo. In games like PoE 2 or DoS 2 you could respec but it didn't matter too much unless you played on higher difficult, this game already gives a lot of people hard time on normal.WIS-max, Possessed Shaman 20 is the skill monkey, though... good luck on soloing Unfair with that build. Doesn't play well with dips. An INT-max Human/Half-Orc with Dragon Disciple 8 has the maximum amount of INT (and therefore the maximum number of skill points) available to you.

I actually went ahead a while ago and did as you were thinking of doing, and autoleveled all of the companions, as well as the premade character Hedwirg, to 20, and recorded what feats, abilities, skills, and spells were chosen at each level. There are a few problems. At the time, Jubilost was bugged and didn't choose feats for levels 17 and 19 ...Unleash a bolt of magic force as a ranged touch attack. Jaethal is a neutral evil undead inquisitor and works well as a melee DPS character. My favorite kingmaker character was a natural attacking vivisectionist that stacked extra bites from motherless tiefling, dragon disciple, and the cloak that adds cold damage and a trip on bite. I also took 1 level of monk, but that was largely for the robes of malice. The extra AC certainly didn't hurt.Partly because you're able to actually use all of your abilities on every character every round. I mean, technically, you could in real-time by constantly pausing, but almost no one plays like that in the majority of fights. Using everything available to you means you're more efficient and things die faster, which means you get hit less.Mar 7, 2022 · Valerie is a heavy armor and tower shield using Fighter with very rigid ideas of right and wrong. She has the unique special ability Valorous, which gives her a +2 inherent bonus to Str and Cha. This is a melee tank build, and she will be the best, strongest, and most consistent tank you will get, unless your main character is a dedicated tank. Build based on two factors: what mythic path you want and what team you are using. Every mythic is viable for unfair. You just need to specialize more than you would on lower difficulties. Once you have your mythic path and team picked figure out the weakness/strength of said team.Character Building Fail to plan, plan to fail. There's a lot to keep track of. But I'd lower cha and wis to pump up intelligence. This is because you really should multiclass into Vivisectionist. A 2H fighter 1/Vivisectionist 19 will end up much better then a pure fighter end game. #3. Dixon Sider Dec 25, 2019 @ 4:17pm.Amiri is a Barbarian. She's crass, direct, and loves a good fight. Abyssal Scion/Scaled Fist is very similar. There are good reasons to stick with your class all the way from 1-20, especially for casters.
