Posted December 9, 2015 (edited) Cleaving Whirlwind is pretty much all about the Broken Bull combo: crazy damage, but low mobility and after the 7th spin a built in stagger happens. Tempo Royale: CC, good mobility and attack speed and some nice multipliers in combos here and there. Best overall stance for moving around and killing stuff.

Prior to the melee rework, I favored Tempo. Now it’s Cleaving Whirlwind. Its forward combo keeps your speed up and has decent aoe. 5. sliferra • 3 yr. ago. For me, Tempo royale was the worst stance of heavy blades. I would even go barebones before using it. What do you guys think? It might be me doing it wrong, maybe not, but I hate it so much.
