Claytor Lake State Park in Southwest Virginia covers 472 acres of lush forests, rolling hills, and serene waters. The lake was formed with the construction of Claytor Dam in the 1930s, and today offers many recreational facilities such as picnic areas, hiking trails, a swimming beach, boat ramps, and camping facilities.

This was our second year renting a cabin at Claytor Lake State Park. We loved our stay there.
