As of update 22.6.0, the corrosive status effect is no longer stripping armor. When the status proc occurs, the icon briefly appears above the enemies head before disappearing. It is possible the effect is temporarily removing armor for a negligible amount time, then the armor is returning to its normal value immediately.I just guess as to the number of procs is best based on how many people are running Corrosive Projection so as to strip as much armor as possible without going over 100% armor removal. I thought so too but it is apparently a health type not an armor type. Though there is a 75% damage bonus from corrosive damage to fossilized, but Corrosive Projection doesn't help there. Good to know.
