Under the settings, go to Betas, it's in the drop down list, not that many mods are in 1.4.4 atm, 1.4.3 is standard right now though. I think there's some optimizations yeah. That is an issue to take up with each console manufacturer (not including the need for a Re-Logic integrated modding platform in the game).I've not played about about 2-3 years, and afte going through a couple more games on my backlog I'm planning on coming back to Terraria.
