Adventurer squadrons - arcanist is great! I know all the talk is "get two archers" but seriously don't overlook this job in your command missions. He's great at clearing trash as almost everything he does is AoE. Even if raw damage is not as high as archer's or thaumaturge's, the consistency of frequent area spells does it's job.
