Springfield 1903 barrel markings

A short chat with Goofy leads me to believe it's a Springfield made my Rock Island. Funny thing is the barrel is stamped with "CAL .30/06" in a different font than rest of markings on receiver. The wrist of the stock is cracked-broken and I'd like to get a replacement. I can get measurements of screw holes and floor plate later.

I have obtained a 1903 Springfield rifle and after looking up the serial number on oldguns.net I learned the rifle was built in 1917. Most of the parts on the gun are springfield armory except the bolt (which is Remington)and the barrel which is listed as AV with the ordnance bomb and the 11-18 date .
