One other thing to consider is that the XD's (tactical, service and sub) can all share the same full size magazine (provided they are of the same caliber).

Thanks. Between the XD Mod 2 and the G26 it's just a matter of which one feels better in your hand while shooting it. Both are excellent choices, don't matter which one you end up getting. To add to your confusion, both guns shoot very well. Of the two, I like the grip texture better on the G43 than that found on the XDs. However, Talon grips can make both better. A co-worker of mine has been looking at Glock pistols,he has shot one that belongs to a friend and had decided on a model 30 (45acp).
