We advised Hatteras Sands Campground that we were making a special trip to the beach with our ailing dog. We arrived at 1200 NOON and paid the $20 fee to have a room ready for us before the 3:00 PM Check in time. I was told by receptionist that she would make this happen as it was 100 degrees outside.
