Hattiloo Theatre generally follows decisions made by Shelby County Schools in determining whether to cancel a performance due to inclement weather. When SCS cancels classes, we typically cancel a performance. Ticket holders for cancelled Saturday and/or Sunday performances will be notified by email or phone call as soon as a decision is made. Applications are being accepted for the 2021 – 2023 cohort until February 21, 2021. Sponsored by the Black Seed Initiative, “The Black Theatre Management Fellowship” is a three-year program that will serve four Black theatre managers. Fellows will live in Memphis, Tennessee, each summer, for three-weeks.The theatre recently unveiled its H.Y.P.E. (Hattiloo Young Professionals Experience) program to encourage young people to become stakeholders in the theatre. The original theatre had an educational component: Classes for young playwrites, actors, and directors.
