I was interested to find out how effective afk magic training was at Ammonite Crabs. I stood in the 3 crab aggro spot just north of the hardwood patches on Fossil Island and cast 1,000 of each fire spell and logged the results. I was level 82 and I did not use any prayer or magic potions. I only used the Chaos Gauntlets when casting Fire Bolt.They are worth it. You can probably camp a 3 sand crab spot if you have a decent combat level to deter crashers.
