Beretta a300 ultima vs outlander

Ok guys, I finally made it home. There’s been a lot of confusion as it pertains to Beretta’s choices of naming shotgun models. Some seem to be under the impression that I am mistaken when discussing my A300 Xtrema, and believe I’m actually writing about the Outlander. They are two different guns, and I own both.

The Outlander Sporting is primarily just a bit heavier and comes with extended chokes. In addition, the finishing on the receiver is a bit different, as is the wood tone (the sportings tend to have brighter/lighter tones). It is the predecessor to the Ultima. The Remington V3 may not be as elegant as the Beretta A300, but Remington will treat you much better if something does go wrong down the road. An example of Remington's attitude is a bad experience I had with a low budget Marlin .22 rifle I purchased during the time Remington was having quality control issues.The way I understand it the a300 is a repackaged version of their older top end tech. It's fantastic and incredibly reliable. The a400 is the newer system. It's faster and softer cycling, especially when you pair it with the kick off stock. As for the SX3 vs. SX4 I actually prefer the ergonomics and balance of the SX4, but thats personal preference. One of my favorite things about the SX4 is the large safety.
