Oct 10, 2015 · VaArcher · #3 · Oct 11, 2015 My Dad still uses one of these. He has the Loggy Lite, which I believe is less than 10 pounds, and bear hugs the tree as you describe. It is a great design, as it saves a ton of weight, but is in my opinion outdated and unnecessarily noisy with the old spring steel climbing band.

Anyone else use the orig Loggy? I bought mine in 1988 and still use it.I tried a summit and a Lonewolf and always went back to Loggy. I don't use the hand climber I hug the tree I know it sounds crazy but it works for me. I went over all the welds and came across a new band for it last year.
