Memorial art gallery. Joan Lyons (born 1937) has been making pictures continuously for more than six decades. She has been a fearless innovator in a wide range of historical and contemporary image-making processes, as well as newly invented reproduction technologies of the 1960s–1980s. Lyons embraces chance and uncertainty as opportunities for discovery.

The Elsie B. Rosefsky Memorial Art Gallery. The Elsie B. Rosefsky Memorial Art Gallery is a recently renovated, 1,100 square foot exhibition space with 10 foot ceilings. The gallery presents an ongoing series of exhibitions, lectures and seminars by visiting artists and notable alumni.

Given in trust to the University of Rochester, the Memorial Art Gallery is one of the few university-affiliated art museums in the country that also serve as community art museums.
