I have worked for Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital for the surgery department for the last 7 years. Before I started here, I was a registered veterinary technician for 11 years in general practice. I was ready to leave the field because of burnout, low pay, and toxic work environments. Working here has been a breath of fresh air.
