The third drive out was different...the first ferry wasn't running, and the second ferry of the day was up in the air. We walked around the fort and went back to check on the second ferry and it was a go! It's around $15 per vehicle and $6 per person for the trip over to Dauphin Island. It was a great experience and the staff was friendly.
