The first new building, Multidisciplinary Research Building 1 (MRB1), received budget, external financing, and design approval at the Regents’ July 2016 meeting and is currently in construction. The campus is now moving forward with the second building, Multidisciplinary Research Building 2 (MRB2), which will be similar in scope.
