It does, but hot oxygen is easier to cool down than the water, plus some of the heat is usually burned in hydrogen generators if self powered electrolyzer setup is used. This is by no means long term setup, but enough to get early SPOM going. You'll need proper cooling after that anyways. 3.The room should not exceed the overheat temperature of the installed pump. Since it is 125°C with gold amalgam and the cool steam vent emits 110°C steam, you should be covered. In the early stages, this is simply established by not isolating the room too much.
