Quilters cache 12 1 2 inch blocks

Using your quilters ruler and rotary cutter, cut down the marked line, forming two (2) half square triangles. Press seam on the half square triangle to your preference. For more information on pressing seams in quilting, check out our article. Lay out the units for the block. Sew the top two units together.

Sew the Color 1 and Color 3 rectangles right sides together in pairs along one long edge, again using a scant 1/4" seam. Press seam to darker side. Make four units like this for the block's sides...
