Anyway, I noticed two things that seemed unusual: 1) When accelerating there was a constant whine/grinding noise. 2) More concerning is that my truck really grinds and howls when making turns in 4WD HI. Applied 10lbs of vacuum with my vacuum pump to both, jacked both front wheels off the ground. With 10lbs of vacuum both hubs disengage like normal. Left the pump on and spun both wheels for about 5 mins, it held the 10lbs of vacuum.
Mostly makes the noise with the steering wheel turned 90 degrees left and 15-20km/h. If you don't have 4A, pull the electrical plug to the solenoid on the drivers side firewall. Both should keep the IWEs engaged. See if the noise reoccurs.
