In my experience the NSW doesn't like to be tuned much less than 16-19 hz, the FS is around 30 Hz. Both have the same 3rd order hi-pass filter at 16 Hz. This is the same NSW compared to an HST-18 in a 12 cu ft cabinet and tuned to 14 Hz, also powered by 2500 watts. A 3rd order hi-pass at 12 Hz to keep excursion in check.I’ve got two Stereo Integrity HST-18’s in ported boxes with two more on the way. I havnt been able to land on amps that I’m totally content with. I started with a clone amp, the FP20000Q, but it was too loud and generated too much heat. The TM65s have been talked about at great length on this site but if you have been living under a rock here is the skinny. This is Stereo Integritys try at a shallow mount high output mid-woofer. Discontinuing the BM mkV's was not an easy thing to do for many reasons including, but not limited to, the mkV's are the most reliable shallow BM ever. Over the life of the carbon fiber BM mkV's we have never had one sent in for warranty related issues. 100% of the BM mKV's work flawlessly.

Now let me tell you, this combo blows that one away. The clarity of sub and quality of the power from the amp is impressive. The sound is full bodied, warm, and distortion free.
