Strimtom builds

My wife runs Rangers usually every other life. Typically Elf or Human with dual Scimitars. Dex build. So very much like Strimtoms 3rd build in the previous post. Her favorite destiny is to twist in Primal Avatar T4 Stormrage. She calls it her "Thor" ability.

Strimtom's hardcore season 1, 2 and 3 builds are easy to achieve, high survivability, decent new player starting builds that require no tomes. Some involve race/class/universal tree unlocks but a fair bit don't. I would say new players go look there instead of other places. Every past life makes a monk even better, 10 extra AC or PRR on a bear may not mean much but on a monk it makes a huge difference.So you've thrown away the last two cores in Fighter. In Vanguard, the remaining cores provide a negligible bonus to attack/damage, increased shield bash proc chance and combat style bonuses to attack speed. She calls it her "Thor" ability.I'm pretty sure inquisitive is basically a class in its own right, you can just ignore your base class entirely, be inquisitive, and that's good enough to level up and perform decently well. I like the 9 ranger 4 art 7 rogue. Start 2 art, 9 ranger, finish art, then do rogue. Gives you fastest crit and improved multi shot.

Anything can do normal, even gimp builds. My two suggestions to learn the quests: Paladin - very self sufficient, heals, 2 hander and just mow everything down. Rogue or some sort of Rogue multi - This will help you learn where the traps are. Maybe best for a 2nd life playthru, but you'd do fine on normal on first life.@Strimtom. I've just finished up my fourth life, artificer spellcaster following a strimtom build and absolutely loved it. Never really managed to do r1 reliably as i mostly played solo, but for elite it was awesome, and i loved being able to remove traps for myself ...
