Volunteers make Venice Theatre happen! In 1950, a group of 41 volunteers joined together to form what was then known as Venice Little Theatre. Today, 1,500 volunteers donate 165,000 hours per year to make Venice Theatre the largest arts organization in south Sarasota County, as well as the largest community theatre per capita in the USA.
