I saw somewhere that Burntrap was Glitchtrap possessing the ruined remains of Springtrap or William Afton's body. But he is still Afton who's soul attached itself to some hardware to create Glitchtrap. V. Burntrap has different endoskeleton structure, similar to a springlock suit, but Mimic is a solid robot, evidence for this is Burntrap's arm and leg rings, which is where the springlocks are actually located.
